New Publication in Small Structures

The latest paper published by our group in the journal Small Structures describes the reasons for the increase in the efficiency of sequentially coated PM6/Y6 when adding trace amounts of 1-chloronaphthalene (CN) to Y6 in bilayer organic solar cells (OSCs). Transient absorption spectroscopy shows that the addition of 0.5–1% CN facilitates exciton dissociation and charge separation, while higher CN fractions increase charge recombination due to changes in the layer morphology. These results point out that there is still room for further fine-tuning the morphology of bilayer OSCs.
